Holle Organic Spelt Baby Rusks are made from premium organic ingredients and are suitable for babies from 6 months onwards. The rusks are unsweetened and free from eggs, dairy, wheat, salt and palm oil. They are mild tasting and easy to digest. Holle Organic Baby Spelt-Rusk are perfect for babies as a snack and to practice biting and chewing, or for preparing tasty baby rusk porridges.
Please do not allow your baby to bite on the rusk unsupervised. Do not give rusks when your baby is lying down, as it poses a risk of choking. Please follow the instructions when making baby cereals. It is important to use the right quantities to ensure your baby receives the right amount of nutrients. Always prepare fresh food and throw leftovers away. Holle Organic Spelt Baby Rusks contains carbohydrates, like all cereal products. Constant contact with carbohydrate food can cause tooth decay, therefore maintain the baby's regular dental hygiene.

Serving suggestion after the 6th month:
Step 1: Break 3 slices of Holle Organic baby spelt rusks (about 34g) into small pieces and place into a bowl.
Step 2: Boil 120ml of whole milk and 60ml of water.
Step 3: Pour evenly onto the rusks and allow rusks to soften for a bit before crushing it with a fork.
Step 4: Stir and allow to cool to 37°C.
Fruit porridge with rusk:
Step 1: Break 2 slices of Holle Organic baby spelt rusks (about 22g) into small pieces and place into a bowl.
Step 2: Boil 140ml of water.
Step 3: Pour evenly onto the rusks and allow rusks to soften for a bit before crushing it with a fork.
Step 4: Stir in 100g of freshly pureed fruits (apple, pear, banana) and allow to cool to 37°C.
Tip:
To further enrich the Holle organic spelt baby rusks porridge with valuable fatty acids and 1 teaspoon of Holle baby weaning oil (alternatively add vegetable oil).
